> TUESDAY JUNE 19 ( and every Tuesday!...)

City Council Meetings : Tuesdays 7-9 pm

Public Forum is open to everyone. Each person gets 2 minutes.
I suggest we keep a presence and keep vigilant, and keep
pounding them. Let's denounce PG&E and the consequences of
private profeteering with OUR electricity service. Let's
create a good and ongoing background for the city council
to listen to the idea of PUBLIC POWER -East Bay MUD- Renewables.

Last night the Mayor indicated that they plan to have the
Richmond representative in the EBMUD board come and present
to the City Council the current state of thinking that EBMUD
has regarding becoming an electricty utility as well.

The date of June 19 was mentioned. It is not confirmed.
We should have that day at least 10 speakers talking about
EBMUD and the benefits of Public Power, and denouncing PG&E,
for the benefit of both the City Council and EBMUD, which
needs to hear from communities that we are interested in them
moving forward inspite of the obstacles that PGE will put
in their way.

You know...? I think that we can win this one too!
