Twenty-five years ago, on August 4, 1977, the San Francisco police evicted the elderly Filipino men from their single occupancy rooms at the I-Hotel. Today, marks the 25th anniversary and a new project to build a Manilatown Community Center on the site where the I-Hotel once stood.
