One of the listeners to the Meria Heller radio show wrote her a letter about Mike Ruppert's latest note published in From The Wilderness.  I don't know if the characterization of the listener's letter is true to Ruppert's statement, but Heller launches into an interesting statement.  This is a 3.25 minute long clip of the October 3, 2002 radio show.  Heller has had Ruppert on her show and it's clear that she supports giving him airtime.  But I wonder if the listener's characterization was correct.

She has been a strong voice for not spending money in corporate media (do you still have Cable TV?), for massive abandonment of the 1 party system, etc.  There are those that cynically say the system can't change with that attitude, but the "truth" is usually a middle ground.  Changing how you spend your money definitely has an impact, and third party politics can work if the movement is large enough (never mind the fact that votes are bought and there is even some evidence of outright fraud, e.g., VoteScam.com
