Debbie Rasmussen and Julie Thayer, two members of the Madison, Wisconsin Whole Foods workers union organizing committee, were fired last week for giving away/drinking a spoiled drink.

This is a blatant attack on the workers' union effort, as the management's enforcement of the supposed "nothing is free" policy is not only inconsistant, but is completely disregarded by many supervisors themselves. This selective enforcement when it benefits them is not only unfair, it is also against the law.
