If the US shot British antiwar protesters, Britain would ditch the antiwar effort and there would even be calls for removal of the US bases.

Storming bases in Germany, England, Ireland or Italy is a great tactic. If hundreds of thousands of Germans stormed US European Command what could the US do? The more militant the attacks on US bases in Europe the better. If the US even opened fire to scare people, US power in Germany would come to a quick end.

Location – Royal Air Force Station Lakenheath, United Kingdom, is located 70 miles northeast of London and 25 miles from Cambridge. Mission – Historically, the 48th Fighter Wing has been the foundation of USAFE’s combat capability and remains so today. We flew in the nation’s two most recent combat contingencies: Operation NORTHERN WATCH and Operation DELIBERATE FORCE.
