Tree-sitter extraction Movie!!!
Corporate "boom and bust" logging by Maxxam owned Pacific Lumber Co. and their contracted logging firms continue to descrate our watersheds and ignore the concerns of large numbers of residents. Tree-sitter removal is just another perfect example of just how lined the pockets of the government agencies in charge are, by the big money of P.L. and the rest of the industrial logging industry. Non-Violent Direct Action will continue to accompany Pacific Lumber logging plans and Tree-sits will be maintained and expanded upon until P.L. shows some kind of movement to change specific logging prescriptions. Those prescriptions are: and end to oldgrowth logging, an end to clearcutting (even aged management), an end to logging on steep and unstable slopes, and a ban on herbicide use.
We Save Trees activists are seeking legal representation in matters of both defense, and offense, surrounding events that have occured in the last 2 weeks! Please Help us to end tree-sitter extraction for the risk is not worth the profit! We are desperately seeking a resolution to the intensifying situation happening in Freshwater, and in other Pacific Lumber watersheds! P.L.'s Logging must change! For the people. For the environment. For the economy. Please Support Local Forest Defense Efforts! MAy the Forest be with You!
