At our meeting on March 20, 2003, AFSCME Local 444, which represents hundred of workers in the East Bay, voted to protest your wholesale mass arrests of those trying to exercise their First Amendment rights to protest the war against Iraq.
We demand that all charges against those rounded up on the streets of San Francisco be dropped and any protestors being held be freed immediately!
