This song really does a nice job of telling the story of Gypsy's death, and brings you right up to date, with us sitting in the trees on Gypsy Mountain, defending this sacred site where our brother was killed.

David "Gypsy" Chain was killed, on September 17th, 1998, when an enraged Maxxam/Pacific Lumber logger knowingly and maliciously began falling trees at non-violent Earth First! activists, who were attempting to stop illegal logging on that day. Maxxam/PL denied responsibility, and worked with the Humboldt County Sheriff's Dept. to try to cover-up this act of violence as a mere "accident," dishonoring themselves completely with their lies and deceit. Activists now occupy Gypsy Mountain, and seek to add the Old Growth Redwood, "Aradia" to the established Gypsy Memorial, just down the ridge from the tree-village.

We have the newest Four Winds CD, "Top of the Flames", available through mail order, and newsletters available, upon request.

Sounds like you'r getting a little aggresive with the marketing. Trust me, people haven't forgotten where
E-bay is located. You do stuff like this and people are going to figure that you need to replace funds or assume that there are other troubles. Be cool and have faith that some one will buy that back log of CD"s.

corruption in earth first

the cover up continues! it seems there is an all out effort to cover up the scandal of earth first corruption. with information coming in from all sides earth first "franticly denies" any wrong doings but is at a loss the explain how they came to own a recording company, along with the growing list of other ventures purchased with money from this claimed nonprofit company.
earth first has turned a cold shoulder to members asking for an explanation of
what is being done with money given to fund environmental projects.

earth first so far has refused to explain it's actions or to refund any donations
it has collected.

now as we see e/f is "demanding money"
this is coming from the same person soliciting us for donations, using another list name to distract from the topic of CORPORATE GREED, AND CORRUPTION. not to mention their involvement in that weekend arson spree that ELF several of the E/F organizers have acknowledged that they support this action and one member proceeded to quote "how to's" from the group's
operations manual. Earth First has turned from the path. they have chosen a life of sin and greed.
as in the case of jumbo who informed the tember company of when the sitters would be out of the grove (FOR MONEY) how much did you get jumbo? was it worth it? earth first has chosen to go down a dark and lonley path.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
