Lost Valley Educational Center Permaculture Slideshow - Lost Valley is a dynamic, land-based educational center and intentional community with a commitment to learning and teaching about ecological, social and personal sustainability. For the ninth consecutive year, we are offering an apprenticeship in Organic Gardening, Permaculture and Community on our eighty-seven acres in the foothills of Western Oregon's Cascade Range. We will discuss Permaculture as we live it - a practical system of ecological design. By learning to mirror the patterns found in healthy natural environments, we can build profitable, productive, sustainable, cultivated ecosystems which have the diversity, stability and resilience of natural ecosystems.
