Military Target Says Ga Ga Goo Goo
Military Target Says Ga Ga Goo Goo
Former Federal corrections officer Louis Pepe holds up a sheet of paper, Sunday, May 2, 2004, in New York, that will help him testify about the events of Nov. 1, 2000, when Mamdouh Mahmud Salim stabbed him in the eye at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. As a result of the attack, Pepe has speech difficulties and an inability to read. Salim faces up to 21 years and 10 months in prison when he is sentenced Monday, after he admitted to the crime and pleaded guilty two years ago. (AP Photo/Mary Altaffer)
