In celebration of Reagan's recent death, dozens gathered at 16th & Mission to remember the hundreds of thousands murdered by death squads in Central America at the behest dead Ronnie. As the procession moved down Mission to gather at 24th street, the names of the dead were sung as folks carried banners and crosses also bearing the names of victims of Reagan's reign of terror.

by Reagan might of been a nice guy

Everyone is blaming Reagan for all the shit that went down during his term, but don't y'all remember he was shot in '81, by hinkley, a friend of the bush family. And what about the Iran weapons deal for the hostages, did Reagan set that up, or is that more in the realm of Pappy bush former head of the CIA?

Looking at this picture I think it's obvious who the evildoers are.

First, your English is seriously incorrect. It should be "might have."

Second, the list of horrors perpetrated by Ronald Reagan is very long and predates and includes his presidency.

He was a fink for the witchhunters, naming names to bust the Hollywood unions in the 1950s.

As Governor of California from 1967 through 1974, he framed Angela Davis in 1970 and had her fired as a UC professor for being a member of a legal organization, the Communist Party. Only a worldwide movement saved her from conviction and the death penalty.

He sent the National Guard to Berkeley to destroy the defense of People's Park in 1969, tear gassing the City and by their belligerent and unnecessary presence, are also, in addition to the Alameda County Sheriffs, responsible for the death of James Rector, an innocent bystander. The City of Berkeley was under siege during the Vietnam war from the National Guard, experiencing constant tear gas from Reagan's National Guard.

He commenced his 1980 campaign in Philadelphia, Mississippi, the site of the murder of civil rights workers Chaney, Schwerner and Goodman in the 1960s, in order to win the white racist vote, which he did.

He fired 13,000 air traffic controllers (government employees) who went on strike in 1981, destroying their small union, PATCO. They had endorsed him in 1980 because he was another white man just like them, but they learned the hard way that they are just workers and had better ally with non-white workers if they want their jobs, much less better conditions.

As President, in addition to continuing the murder of the Palestinians commenced officially in 1948, murdering the people of Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador, supporting apartheid in South Africa, illegally invading Grenada, increasing the military budget, continuing the homeless crisis that reminds us this of the bankruptcy of capitalism which started under Democrat Carter in 1980 (Reagan took office in 1981), perhaps the epitome of his entire list of horrors was that he honored the Nazis at Bitburg in 1985 for the 40th anniversary of the end of WW2. We had a rally in Union Square protesting this travesty and the anti-fascist world community protested vigorously as well.

Ronald Reagan's entire career was about promoting fascism, the naked force of capitalism, without the democratic facade. He perpetrated the "Cold War" for the same reason he did everything else, to make sure the capitalist class maximized its profits, the primary goal of capitalism. The problem is the profit motive of capitalism. The Communist bogeyman was just the scapegoat to build the military, thereby enhancing the profits of the munitions makers, as well as enabling the conquest of world markets and guaranteeing cheap labor.

The Democrats are just as anti-communist and promote exactly the same agenda for exactly the same reason. No one who wants any kind of progressive change has any business voting for any Democrat or any Republican as neither party can possibly improve the quality of our lives as they represent a bankrupt social order.

It is obvious that the media does everything they can to avoid helping the poor. and common. The billionaires have their own agenda and it does not include us. They waste air time by trying to worship heroes that are not, like Reagan.

During Reagans presidency our prison population began to climb in the USA. He was just another of our enemies. The true onslaught began in 1973 when Nixon was framed and so was Gerald Ford.

We know who our enemies are, but we can not see them because they are hiding behind the scenes at the movie studios.
