The Forgotten

Rally to Demand a Stop to the City’s

Policies that are hurting homeless and poor people.

Tuesday May 3rd 2005

Noon – City Hall

· Seniors, veterans, immigrants, families with children, people with disabilities, homeless people, battered women and poor working people are loosing services while only a small fraction of homeless people are getting housing.

· The city agenda has targeted these vulnerable populations to pay for Care Not Cash through cuts in social programs.

· Come on May 3rd and tell the Mayor that his homeless plan does not serve the interest of the most needed.

· The dirty secret behind San Francisco’s Care Not Cash is that the city is creating two classes of homeless, the few hundred who are being housed and the thousands who are being forgotten.

We will meet at the corner of Larkin and McAllister

at 11:00 AM
