Professor John Yoo -- UC Berkeley Law Prof. and fmr Deputy Asst. Attorney General in the Bush Administration

and

Mark Danner -- UC "Journalism" School professor

square off in a debate tonight at UC Berkeley Law School's BOOTH AUDITORIUM (on the east side, ground floor, courtyard entrance).

Hopefully, there will also be a good protest against John Yoo -- state torture advocate -- beforehand outside.

And maybe someone can ask John Yoo just how many of the hundreds, if not thousands, of Iraqi or Afghan torture victims (in Abu-Ghraib or Guantanamo) were, according to his state torture justifications, "ticking time bombs who planted nuclear or biological WMDs waiting to go off and kill millions in an American city".
