Monday, May 16
Steve Kubby, long-time medical marijuana advocate, will have his next
court hearing on Monday at 8:30 am in Department 4 on the 2nd floor of
the Historic Courthouse in Auburn, California.

Tuesday, May 17
Milpitas City Council will consider at its May 17 meeting establishing a
45-day moratorium on the establishment and operation of medical
marijuana dispensaries, which would become effective immediately with a
four-fifths vote. Milpitas City Council's meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
at 455 E. Calaveras Blvd.

Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, 8:30am
Tim Smith, chairman of the Sonoma county Board of Supervisors, said he
would propose an emergency moratorium Tuesday to give the county time to
devise regulations. The county has no policies prohibiting pot clubs,
but Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park and Sebastopol have temporarily banned new
pot clubs while they draft permanent laws regulating their operations.
