How does Financial Aid work?
Tuition for the Coro Community Fellows Program is $3,500. However, Coro Northern California’s financial aid program reflects our belief that individual financial circumstances should NOT be a barrier to participation in a Coro program. Available financial aid is awarded upon admission to the program. Financial aid is disbursed on financial need and scholarship availability.

What do Fellows and Employers say about the program?
“Coro has been an invaluable learning experience...looking below the surface of critical issues, always more complicated than they appear. I would not trade this experience for anything! Now let the work begin!”
-Director of Product Development, Convergent Laser Technologies

“Community Fellows is an excellent opportunity to meet community leaders and to work with a diverse group of individuals while learning about social issues and attaining personal growth.”
-Director of Community Relations, Macy’s West

“Wow. Not at all what I expected—very unique. In my professional life I’ve learned to think outside of the box; in my personal life I choose to live outside the box. With Coro I’ve either learned to think and live outside the box simultaneously or maybe there is no box! I loved the independent project—not just thinking of a solution but DOING IT.”
-Database Administrator and Reference Librarian, Environmental Protection Agency

“The access that the Community Fellows program provided me was totally outstanding. The quality and variety of the workshops (ethical fitness, DKDK, etc.) was very high."
-Board Member, San Francisco General Hospital Foundation

“Overall, for anyone interested in getting to understand the Bay Area better it is a great program.”
-Product Manager, 3Com Corporation

“I feel like each of us has challenged assumptions and expectations we had coming into the program. I had to let go of needing to know everything in advance before I take a risk. I had to re-think how I listen, speak and learn."
-Marketing and Promotions, California Academy of Sciences

“Great job! A great investment of my time and a wonderful learning experience. The feedback from the group was great—a real opportunity for personal growth.”
-Board Member, Menlo Atherton High School

“It was a fantastic venue to broaden my knowledge base and exposure to how things work on a civic level in the Bay Area.”
-Senior Manager, Charles Schwab and Board Member, Partners in Hope

"Coro Northern California offers an innovative, tightly planned course for leadership training. I would recommend Coro to employers in business, nonprofit and government sectors as an opportunity to challenge key staff to expand their leadership at work and in the community."
-Bay Area County Supervisor
