Don't worry, it's at an all time epidemic of mosquitos carrying the West Nile virus. Better to toxify yourself than protect yourself and educate yourself and your doctors about the West Nile Virus.
The Sacramento/Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District has said via telephone that the aerial spraying will likely re-occur over and over again. One application of pesticides is bad enough, but Sacramento county is facing multiple aerial sprayings that will create a heightened, cumulative effect.
The district is governed by a twelve member Board of Trustees appointed by each county and incorporated cities in its jurisdiction. The board meets on the third Tuesday of the month, at 1:15pm in the Board room at the District office at 8631 Bond Road in Elk Grove.
