Rally at noon in Oakland? Read all and reply right away

Today could be the day. The legislation we have been fighting for sits on the
Governor’s desk.

I feel the need to do something. I already wrote two more emails to the governor and
called the phone number to show my support.

I just sent out a message about a planned community response in San Francisco for
whatever day the Governor takes action.

But now what? Sitting alone at my desk does not satisfy the need to be with
community at such a moment in history. How about you?

I propose we gather as a community today at noon by Lake Merritt. We can have a
presence showing we care deeply about equality. We can meet others who share our
concerns. I can bring signs. I work nearby and can be there in two minutes. All I
want to know is that at least 10 other people will show up.

So email me if you can show up for a spontaneous rally today at noon. We will meet
by the columns at the end of the lake closest to Highway 580. You can exit Lakeshore
or Grand Ave from 580. There is free parking in a lot under the highway.

Reply to this message and say you want to come. As soon as I have 10 people, I will
respond to all of you to say come. So please respond immediately. I know this is
last minute but I have a feeling others nearby would like to do something. Let me
know.
