OUR DOG WANTS TO KNOW, IS ARNOLD A LAB OR A BROWNSCHNAUZER?

by RENEE
PROP 73 IS DANGEROUS FOR OUR KIDS

In a recent article by the Sacramento Bee, our own Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, stated that he would "kill" anyone who provided his daughter access to a confidential, medically safe abortion.

Given that our Governor is charged with the task of leading our state, these public comments are simply unacceptable.

In addition, Governor Schwarzenegger made clear in his interview, that he holds the naive perspective that notification laws are about our kid's safety when in fact notification laws are about liability. Even the medical community is opposed to Prop 73.

What our governor's comments did serve to accomplish was simply to validate any parent who thinks raging is an acceptable method of dealing with unsettling news and that we should support a law that gives those same families forty eight hours to work it out behind closed doors. Now that is truly unsettling.

Perhaps our governor did not mean for his comments to be taken literally, however, his lack of judgment has simply given fuel to those folks who don't have a handle on their rage. His irresponsible demonstration of leadership needs to be called into question.

Please ask our governor to retract his statements and vote "NO" on Prop 73.

Prop 73 is getting bi-partisan opposition and for good reason. It is misguided legislation that does not address the issue of healthy family communication, in fact it places roadblocks to that very goal.
Keep our Teens Safe...vote "NO" on prop 73
