Don't be fooled by Pharma in November!
Vote Yes on Prop 79! The prescription drug industry is spending $80 million to blitz California with TV ads for their alternative prescription drug plan. But their plan isn't even enforceable. Its completely voluntary for the companies. We don't have their mega-millions, but we have people power behind Prop 79--the real prescription drug discount plan supported by consumer, senior and labor groups in California.
The "Vote Yes on Prop 79" campaign needs volunteers in October and right up to the election to get the truth out to voters all across the state. You can order door hangers and put them on your neighbor's doors, volunteer to leaflet at events in your area, make phone calls from your home and much more. Please take a moment to visit the Volunteer Center at http://www.voteyesonProp79.org and sign up for the activities of your choice.
And while you're there--please endorse Prop 79! We've just launched a simple endorsement form and we hope to sign up 100,000 supportive Californians before the election to show Pharma that voters have already figured out which prescription drug plan to support in November.
