Bringing Home The California National Guard: A Code Pink Campaign

by Janet Rosen (riotcrone [at] yahoo.com)
Our campaign is gaining momentum! The cities of Santa Cruz & Berkeley have joined San Francisco in adopting the Resolution; Oakland, Sebastopol, Fairfax and maybe Petaluma should be on board in October. Loni Hancock, our Berkeley Assemblywoman, has introduced the Resolution AJR36 to the State Assembly, prior to their recess September 8th. About 22 legislators have co-authored AJR36 - we need about 23 more and aim for a vote when they reconvene in January 2006.

We must bring our California National Guard home from Iraq now. Of course we want ALL our troops to come home; and as a beginning strategy for both bringing troops home AND ending this war in Iraq, we will work on pressuring our governor & state legislators to bring home our guard, who in turn will pressure Bush to bring home our California National Guard .

This is an exciting and empowering campaign that needs YOU! We have volunteers and working groups that are getting cities/towns to adopt the Resolution and getting individuals to sign Petitions. Our website has detailed information, resources, and forms.

If you have one hour a day, a week, a month - we want that hour! If your skills are phone calling, writing, staffing tables, walking, reading, talking - whatEVER, we want those skills! If you don't know what to do, we'll help you figure it out, not to worry! Just call 510-524-2776 or 415-575-5555 or email mzsam [at] bayareacodepink.org or Adrienne [at] bayareacodepink.org - REMEMBER CodePINK doesn't happen unless YOU step up to the plate & make it work! In pink peace, power, participation, protest!!!

You bring them home, then what are they supposed to do? What's their mission? Their reason for existence?
by General Squishem
The same as it's been for the past 100 years

Blow away:
1) labor commies (Ludlowville Massacre)

2) peace faggots (Kent State)

3) uppity buck niggers (Jackson State)

Then when we need to swing our dicks around by having a legion of heavily armed psychopaths stomp the guts out of desperate peasants in their own country on the other side of the world, we'll still have the Army Rangers, 101 Airborne, the Marines, millions of criminally insane mercs from every tin-pot fascist shithole on earth ("they may be tin-pot fascist shitholes, but hey they're OUR tin-pot fascist shitholes!!" -Franklin Delaney Roosevelt)

Anything else you want to know?

Liberty City Fla(X2), LA(X?), Detroit riots, Postal Strike, Firefighter and Police strikes, natural disasters, drug eradication(every state has a guard unit flying around looking for dope), and war.

What you said is kind of true. I prefer to just shoot the peasants instead of squishing their guts out. Too much work doing that.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
