Arc Ecology and Conflict of Interest in the Bayview

by Francisco Da Costa (frandacosta [at] att.net)
Mayor Gavin Newsom better step in and stop this blatant conflict of interest in the Bayview. Again and again outside groups and here we have Arc Ecology wanting to do some little fake outreach by trying to win $283,500 per bid using UNDUE process known to the world as CONFLICT OF INTEREST. You cannot fool all the people all the time.
Mayor Gavin Newsom is fully aware of Arc Ecology and so is his Base Closure Czar Michael Cohen. A quick telephone call to Lennar BVHP LLC and Larry Florin make speed things up about conflict of interest issues. Arc Ecology head the Environmental Group with the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) and yet Arc Ecology chose to give itself an opportunity for a huge grant - $283,500 per year for 3 years.

At every stage of the PROCESS with INTENT corruption prevailed. Marcia Rosen better tell the TRUTH in Court. Amy Brownell who works for the SF Public Health Department wrote the grant proposal and also was on the selection panel.

The President of the CAC was also on the panel and gave high marks to Arc Ecology. What is
happening here? The people want to know? I am sure Mayor Gavin Newsom the clean cut savvy politician wants to know? The world wants to know!

Jesse Blout the Director of Economic Development and Workforce is fully cogizant of the fact that Saul Bloom lurks and leaches where there is money to be made.

Marcia Rosen has chosen to play with Saul Bloom and win him favors.

Commissioner Leroy King of the SF Redevelopment Commission wants Accountability and Transparency.

Chair, Richard Peterson of the SF Redevelopment Commission is confused because he really does not know what to make of it all.

The San Francisco Controller's Office has been slow to find out what is happening about vast amounts of money given to Community Based Organization like Arc Ecology in the Bayview Hunters Point to do fake outreach.

The Windows Project was and is a failure. The point person for outreach on that project is dubious in nature.

Sophie Maxwell the District 10 Supervisor is out to support entities like Arc Ecology and encourages divisiveness in the community. Is anyone on the take?

The SF Controller's Office was notified about Arc Ecology many times but has chosen to let go this dubious entity lightly.

Mayor Gavin Newsom better find out about the December 20, 2005 at 4 pm in Room 416 and the conflict of interest linked to Agena Item 4 e.

Mayor Gavin Newsom should send a representative at the SF Redevelopment Commission Meeting January 17, 2006 at 4 pm in Room 416. We all want answers and the Mayor's Office of Clean Justice can help us all. How about Project Justice!

Mayor Gavin Newsom brags that he is about clean government and I believe him since I know him - but we want action and we want it quick.
