*February 7th, Riverside: Stop County from Joining San Diego Lawsuit
Against the State!

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors are considering signing on to
the San Diego County lawsuit against Prop 215, our Compassionate Use
Act. This lawsuit is unprecedented and is in stark opposition to the
opinion of the overwhelming majority of Californian voters who feel that
seriously ill patients should be able to use medical marijuana legally
under state law.

Join patients & patient advocates in standing up for Prop 215 at the
Feb. 7th Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting. We will rally
outside the Riverside County Administrative Center at 12pm, noon, on
Tues., Feb. 7th. The meeting starts at 9am and those who wish to speak
should arrive early to sign up for the public comments segment at the
end of the meeting agenda.

The meeting (9am) and rally (12pm) will be held at the Riverside County
Administrative Center at 4080 Lemon Street, Riverside, CA.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors have voted to sign on to
the San Diego County lawsuit against Prop 215, our Compassionate Use

speak at the meeting, and the second will leave at 10am for those who
will be attending the rally.

Kick off medical marijuana week with the LA ASA Organizational Meeting,
Saturday, Feb. 11th, from 2-4pm at the Hollywood Lutheran Church,
located at 1733 N. New Hampshire Ave., just west of Vermont Ave. and
north of Hollywood Blvd. We will be organizing for the LAPD Rally on
Feb. 18th, in addition to other upcoming events for medical marijuana
week, Feb. 11th through Feb. 19th. Now's an awesome time to get active

1-4pm at the California Patients Groups, located at 6208 Santa Monica
Blvd. @ El Centro in Hollywood. This training is a must for all patients
and caregivers. Come learn how to handle encounters with law enforcement
to protect your freedom and your right to safe access.

Until marijuana is rescheduled federally, your rights can easily be
abused by law enforcement. Be smart! Know your rights!
