"Battle of the Babes" promoted as a way to determine right to abortion

by blackeye1776
Babe-alicious "coverage" of "Walk for Life":
"When all the dust has settled, there is really only one way to determine which of two competing political ideologies has emerged victorious, and that is: Which side has the best-looking women?"
You can't waste your time complaining about every idiot blogger on the internet, but this one is so deserving.

The person who runs this website states his impartiality:
"The page is not meant to be an argument for one side or the other, nor does it analyze the merits of either position. It is simply an essay about what happened that day, and what people did."

Fair enough. But read the comments on the photos and check out this person's coverage of other similar events, and you can judge for yourself his "impartiality". In fact several antichoice websites have been trumpeting this site as a fair depiction for their side.
An example: http://www.imago-dei.net/imago_dei/2006/01/pictures_pictur.html

Let's judge by the words, go to the link and decide yourself whether babe-ism decides for you. Is he just trying to be cute, or is he just another sexist right-wing moron?

From zombie's site:
"The "Walk for Life" March and Counter-Demonstration (Part 3)
When all the dust has settled, there is really only one way to determine which of two competing political ideologies has emerged victorious, and that is:

Which side has the best-looking women?

This measure of political power has for decades been the only surefire way to gauge the strength of any social movement.

So, let's have at it: who is cuter -- the pro-life gals (on the left side of the page) or the pro-choice womyn (on the right)?

All pictures were taken at the "Walk for Life" march in San Francisco on January 21, 2006.

Who will win this epic battle and determine the future of America? You be the judge... If only all political battles could be settled this way."

Our ideas are better. We may disagree with our sisters who want to overturn Roe v Wade, but we'd be fools to pay attention to this baiting. It's meaningless
It's a bit freaky that i'm in one of the pictures, but...thats the chance we need to take. I'd rather be visible than invisible.

Zombie doesn't hide the fact that he's right wing, for godsakes the guy posts on Little Green Footballs!

Personally, I look at his stuff because I think its hilarious (and much is eye opening...check out "Anatomy of a Photograph") but it's a waste of time to try to "prove" that he's right wing.

Also, I question the "sexist" thing. It just made me chuckle. Hell, if I had a site of political photos, I might do the same, but for males. It would certainly show that I'm a heterosexual female, but would it make me sexist?
