Local Residents Educate About Cruelty of Using Animals In Circus
Local grassroots group, Citizens For Cruelty-Free Entertainment, organized educational leafletings at all of the Circus Vazquez shows in San Jose (June 9-13).
The SAD Lives of Animals With Circus Vazquez
Though they've committed no crime, animals with the circus are held like prisoners. Tigers are kept in cages just big enough to turn around and horses and camels are kept in small stalls on concrete parking lots.
All the animals are forced to eat and sleep where they urinate and defecate. Though born to run free they are never allowed this. Due to the boredom of this severe confinement, tigers are often pacing back and forth – They have gone crazy.
