Planning Meeting For Ethanol Fuel Tuesday at Louden Nelson, 7pm (11/14)
Come out to a meeting Tuesday evening, November 14th and learn about efforts underway to open the first ethanol fueling station in California.
This Tuesday at 7 p.m. we'll be having a meeting at Louden Nelson to organize to install the first alcohol fuel station in Santa Cruz. It will actually be the first real public pump in California and it is being organized as a driver owned station managed by my organization the International Institute for Ecological Agriculture. It will be the first driver owned station in the country. Buying alcohol from this station for your vehicle is environmentally positive, helps reverse global warming, will be cheaper than gasoline, and generate tax credits of 61 cents a gallon for every gallon you use. Its not everyday that you get to win over both the oil companies and the IRS. Any gasoline powered car can run on alcohol with inexpensive modifications.
For more information see the attached flyer and come to the organizing meeting on Tuesday the 14th. The turnout at this meeting will determine if there is enough interest to make this happen. If you have a conflict and can't make the meeting but ARE interested send me back an email and we'll keep you posted as to future meetings.
