Can Hillary, Inc’s Village Raise Palestinian Children?

Senator Hillary Clinton is very concerned about education.

To be precise, she is concerned about how Palestinians choose to educate their own children.

Here, the Senator cited from a report prepared by Itamar Marcus, the founder of Palestinian Media Watch and the former Director of Research for the Center for Monitoring the Impact of Peace.

Suffice it to say, Mr. Marcus has an axe to grind.

And Senator Clinton is only too happy to swing it for him.

However, a Eupopean Union report found that “New textbooks, though not perfect, are free of inciteful content and improve the previous textbooks, constituting a valuable contribution to the education of young Palestinians.”

Has the Senator the same concern for what Israeli youngsters are taught?:

“Israeli school textbooks as well as children’s storybooks, according to recent academic studies and surveys, portray Palestinians and Arabs as ‘murderers,’ ‘rioters,’ ‘suspicious,’ and generally backward and unproductive. Direct delegitimization and negative stereotyping of Palestinians and Arabs are the rule rather than the exception in Israeli schoolbooks.

Professor Daniel Bar-Tal of Tel Aviv University studied 124 elementary, middle- and high school textbooks on grammar and Hebrew literature, history, geography and citizenship. Bar-Tal concluded that Israeli textbooks present the view that Jews are involved in a justified, even humanitarian, war against an Arab enemy that refuses to accept and acknowledge the existence and rights of Jews in Israel.”

If anything, Senator Clinton, and indeed, every American, must become concerned about what is taught, and moreover, what isn’t taught in schools throughout the United States.

Our ignorant and undereducated populace has empowered an ignorant and dangerous man to lead the last Superpower on the planet.

So too, the mass media is to be faulted for failing to educate and thoroughly report who is behind the Senator’s horse-and-pony show and what their motives are.

Also, analysis and consideration should be given to the impact that her blatant, relentless and myopic bias concerning Palestinians would have on United States diplomacy, and indeed, credibility for the Middle East region.
