FSRN must raise another $33,000 by June 30 to make our budget. And we aren't on track to do that. We need these donations to stay on the air. Without meeting this goal, we may have to shut down permanently.

We need to pick up the pace. Time is running out. Please donate now.

Special Message from Democracy Now!

FSRN must raise another $33,000 by June 30 to make our budget. And we aren't on track to do that. We need these donations to stay on the air. Without meeting this goal, we may have to shut down permanently.

Free Speech Radio news is unique and irreplaceable in today's homogenous media landscape, so keep the flame burning at FSRN. If you have not yet answered our appeals, now is the time. The $10 donor is as important as the $10,000 donor, so don’t feel shy.

A major funder is suddenly unable to meet its contracted obligations to pay us, and we are using up our small reserve to cover our operating expenses.

Without a large infusion of cash right now, FSRN may begin the process of legally closing our doors before the end of June. We must raise a total of $75,000 by June 30 to keep that from happening.

FSRN faces this problem because most major funders of independent, progressive news sources like ours only want to underwrite projects, infrastructure and technical developments. They don't like to fund operations.

So, we are counting on you.

You understand FSRN’s value, and share our values: we’re independent; we’re fair, and we’re free from government and corporate spin; we report with integrity. We bring you stories from around the world that are un-reported, under-reported, or that some would like to censor. We report on how policies affect people. We report on the issues you care about that are hard to find elsewhere.

You’ll hear from me often. We’ll stay transparent about this. If you can make a major long-term commitment, raise funds on our behalf, or simply have questions, call me or send an email. All donations to FSRN are tax deductible.

Thanks! More soon...
