Film Viewing with the Director:
Learning from El Salvador
by award-winning documentary filmmaker Bob Gliner

Come watch the documentary with the director Bob Gliner as a special guest! The film delves into El Salvador as a nation deeply connected to U.S. policies that remains little understood by most Americans who only hear about violent gangs and the recent migration of Salvadoran children to U.S. border regions. Yet recent changes to the country in the areas of education, health care, agriculture and democratic governance offer a different perspective with implications for helping us solve problems here at home.

Bob Gliner is an award winning documentary producer with more than 40 programs to his credit, which have appeared on PBS stations throughout the United States and have also been shown to classes in a wide variety of university and public school settings, as well as by nonprofit organizations
