Cat Brooks Speaks Out Against Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf's New Evening Protest Curfew

In the video here, Cat Brooks speaks in front of OPD headquarters after marchers defied Oakland police orders yesterday and proceeded to march in the street. Cat confronts the city's racism exhibited by harsh new security measures enforced at Oakland City Hall on Tuesday, May 19, and new orders by Mayor Libby Schaaf to enforce an unprecedented evening protest curfew which apparently went into effect last night at the #SayHerName #BlackWomenMatter march. Cat declares, "These streets do not belong to Libby Schaaf!" She promises, "this summer, action summer, we gonna take back these motherfuckin' streets!"
