Final comments:
I find most of the above comments inappropriate, negative, boorish and bullying in nature. Some of these people posting the horrible comments have close ties to our local government. They get first crack at all the big city and county contacts. Why are we paying them to divide our community into a hate fueled nightmare?
To try recalling a city council person over such a flimsy, misinformation, mischaracterization campaign needs to be made openly public. Sadly it reflects badly on all 12,000 TBSC members who have chosen to join but not post into the group. Many have expression fear of posting because they will be attacked for having a differing opinion. If all voices aren’t allowed and accepted then it is more like a “cult" than a group for needed change in Santa Cruz.
If you aren’t okay with this kind of bully and negative behavior remove yourself so their crazy behavior don’t get reflected upon the majority of reasonable, positive Santa Cruz residents.

Meanwhile, bike theft was/is a problem (even at PeaceCamp2010). Apparently that pricey PredPol snake oil is useless for solving the problem.
TBSC, started in part by a local city council member who is also an admin, approves posts which attempt to discredit another city council member. The Santa Cruz business class, real estate agents, and local law enforcement/ first responders post often. They censor, bully, and attempt to discredit anyone who speaks against them.
Come on, Santa Cruz, you've got to be smart enough to connect the dots here.
At the bare minimum, their "Public Benefit Corp" status should be investigated for participating in local politics.
