Climate Action comes to town (part one)

We were greeting by marimba music as we hit Pacific Avenue

the marimba players were amazed and delighted.

Spontaneous reactions were not wasted on us. The musicians were generous with their attention.

As we approached San Lorenzo Park, the bridge overflowed with marchers on both ends.

Our numbers had swelled greatly, the end of the parade seemed far off.

There was a sizable delegation from the local Friends Meeting.

As people spread out across the park, the crowd was estimated at 350, as in dot org.

Events at the park were meant to pave the way for real work on Dec. 12, after COP21 has passed.
