Yes on Measure Z Campaign Kick-Off
Monterey County Fracking Ban Proponents to Host Rally and Grand Opening of New HQ
The official campaign kick-off party for Yes on Measure Z, to ban fracking in Monterey County, will be held in Salinas on Saturday, September 10. A rally will be held in addition to the grand opening of the campaign's new headquarters, which is located in the heart of Salinas on Main Street.

Measure Z made it to the November ballot as the result of months of work by volunteers with Protect Monterey County, a group working to safe-guard local water supplies and protect the county's agricultural production, in order to assure a healthy future for Central Coast families.

Yes on Measure Z writes: There will be food, music and plenty of great community leaders speaking about protecting our water by banning fracking and waste water injection. We will be canvassing and phone-banking for supporters after the grand-opening. So invite your friends, family and everyone you know to celebrate the kick-off of Yes on Measure Z- Protect Our Water and Ban Fracking. See you there!
