Bay Area Air Quality Under Threat & the Fired Whistleblowers at BAAQMD

by Labor Video Project
Health and safety advocates spoke at a meeting in San Francisco to discuss the role of the Bay Area Air Quality Control District managers. They reported on the failure of the agency to protect the community and public from dangerous toxins in the air. They also supported the whistleblowers at the District who have been fired for protesting the destruction of documents by the executives. The California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has refused to launch an investigation of these criminal actions by the BAAQMD bosses.
