PNW Street Medics and Military Medicine
A statement on the association of PNW Street Medics with Military Medicine. Yes, some of PNW Street Medics members are former combat medics and special operations medical personnel.
It was recently pointed out (on Twitter) that the PNW Street Medics Facebook group Admin is a "Former Army Dude". This is true! PNW Street Medics is made up of individuals with a wide range of medical backgrounds - including military medicine. The Admin of the PNW Street Medics Facebook group is 'Michael Chesbro' (a former Army dude) who last served with the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Lewis (now Joint Base Lewis-McChord), Washington.
The PNW Street Medics Facebook group is here to provide resources of medical relevance to anyone who is interested. We believe that military medicine is relevant to the work that Street Medics do, and we include several military medicine resources in our Facebook group Files section.
