On Aug. 30, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City issued a ruling saying a Williamstown school district had gone too far in its attempts to censor a politically charged T-shirt worn by seventh-grader Zachary Guiles. The court found the T-shirt was protected as free speech and cleared Guiles' school record of disciplinary actions that resulted....

textMayor Gavin Newsom - 62 have been killed and what are you doing? by Francisco Da Costa
62 have been killed as of August 29, 2006 and Mayor Gavin Newsom has no idea what is happening on the streets and neighborhoods of San Francisco. If a number of Whites were killed by thugs there would have been a hue and cry. The same if a number of gays will killed the streets of Market Street would be packed with marchers protesting. Daily the Mayor should know in many neighborhoods - gun fire is heard and thousands live in fear....

textAllen Nance from the the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice a joker by Francisco Da Costa
We have crossed the 60th killing in San Francisco and at the rate we are going we will fly past last year's total. The Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice with Allen Nance from Chicago at its head is a joker. Allen Nance decided to cut funding to frontline Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and gave money to those CBOs that might deserve some but not at the expense of frontline CBOs that deal with youth and other issues and prevent killings, shootings, violence and so on....
